Indonesia’s Coordinating Minister for Legal Affairs, Human Rights, Immigration and Corrections and Ambassador Salem Balfakeeh Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation

His Excellency Ambassador Salem Ahmed Balfakeeh held talks on Friday, 27 February 2026, with His Excellency Dr Yusril Ihza Mahendra, Indonesia’s Coordinating Minister for Legal Affairs, Human Rights, Immigration and Corrections, on ways to strengthen and further develop bilateral relations in areas of mutual interest. The meeting was held at the Ministry’s headquarters in Jakarta. The meeting addressed the importance of activating the legal and institutional agreements concluded between the two countries in a manner that serves their mutual interests, strengthens cooperation in the judicial and humanitarian fields, and contributes to developing mechanisms for coordination and consultation between the relevant authorities on both sides.
