Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono and Ambassador Salem Balfakeeh Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations

His Excellency Ambassador Salem Ahmed Balfakeeh met on Thursday, 8 January, with His Excellency Sugiono, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, at the headquarters of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jakarta. During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and explored ways to strengthen and further develop them. They also discussed prospects for reactivating joint cooperation mechanisms in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both countries. The two sides also exchanged views on a number of regional issues of mutual interest, including the latest developments in Yemen. The meeting was attended by Mr Ahrul Sani Fathur Rahman, Director for Middle East Affairs at the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
