Ambassador Salem Balfakeeh Receives Indonesia’s Ambassador-Designate to Yemen and Discusses Strengthening Bilateral Relations

His Excellency Ambassador Salem Ahmed Abdulrahman Balfakeeh received His Excellency Andi Rachadian, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Yemen, on Monday, 15 June 2026, at the Embassy’s premises in Jakarta. During the meeting, Ambassador Balfakeeh welcomed the Indonesian Ambassador and congratulated him on his appointment, wishing him success in carrying out his diplomatic duties in a manner that contributes to strengthening the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two friendly countries. The meeting reviewed bilateral relations between the Republic of Yemen and the Republic of Indonesia and discussed ways to enhance cooperation in various areas of mutual interest, in a manner that serves the interests of both countries and their peoples. For his part, Ambassador Andi Rachadian expressed his pride in being appointed as his country’s Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen. He reaffirmed his commitment to working toward the further development of bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation and coordination between the two countries during the coming period. The meeting also addressed a number of issues and topics of mutual interest within the framework of the distinguished historical relations between the Republic of Yemen and the Republic of Indonesia.
