Ambassador Salem Balfakeeh Presents His Credentials to the President of Indonesia as Yemen’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary

His Excellency Ambassador Salem Ahmed Balfakeeh presented his credentials on Friday to His Excellency President Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Yemen to the Republic of Indonesia. The official ceremony was held at the Istana Merdeka Presidential Palace in the capital, Jakarta. Ambassador Balfakeeh conveyed the greetings of His Excellency Dr Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, along with his best wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly Republic of Indonesia. He reaffirmed the Republic of Yemen’s commitment to strengthening and expanding cooperation between the two countries in various fields in a manner that serves the interests of their two brotherly peoples. For his part, His Excellency President Prabowo Subianto welcomed Ambassador Salem Ahmed Balfakeeh and wished him success in carrying out his duties. He also reaffirmed Indonesia’s commitment to strengthening the historic relations between the two friendly countries and further developing them in various fields in a manner that serves the shared interests of the Yemeni and Indonesian peoples. The credentials presentation ceremony was attended by Counsellor Nasser Saeed Ibrahim.
