Ambassador Salem Balfakeeh Discusses Strengthening Academic Cooperation with the President of Bandung Institute of Technology

Bandung: His Excellency Ambassador Salem Ahmed Balfakeeh met with the President of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Professor Tatacipta Dirgantara, to discuss ways to strengthen academic and scientific cooperation between the institute and Yemeni universities. The meeting discussed the possibility of increasing scholarship opportunities for Yemeni students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, developing joint scientific research programs, exchanging faculty members, researchers, and students, and benefiting from the institute’s expertise in engineering and technology. Ambassador Balfakeeh emphasized the importance of cooperation in higher education and scientific research in developing Yemeni human resources and strengthening relations between the two countries. The President of the Institute expressed his readiness to explore partnership opportunities with Yemeni universities and educational institutions.
