Ambassador Salem Balfakeeh Discusses Bilateral Relations and Developments in Yemen and the Region with Former Indonesian Vice President

His Excellency Ambassador Salem Ahmed Balfakeeh met today, Friday, August 21, 2026, with Mr. Muhammad Jusuf Kalla, former Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia and Chairman of the Indonesian Red Cross. The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to strengthen and develop them, as well as prospects for cooperation that would contribute to further consolidating the existing ties between Yemen and Indonesia. The two sides also reviewed developments in the Republic of Yemen and the region and exchanged views on a number of issues of common interest.
