Ambassador Balfaqih Participates in a Diplomatic Roundtable on Humanitarian Action

H.E. Ambassador Salem Ahmed Balfaqih participated on Tuesday, 6 October 2026, in a diplomatic roundtable organized by the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) in cooperation with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) in Jakarta. The event focused on strengthening humanitarian partnerships and coordination, as well as exchanging views on current humanitarian priorities and challenges. Discussions also highlighted the humanitarian situation in Yemen and the growing humanitarian needs resulting from the ongoing situation, underscoring the importance of continued support for humanitarian response, recovery and stability efforts, and of strengthening cooperation with international humanitarian institutions and organizations.
