Ambassador Balfaqih Discusses with UNHCR Officials Ways to Strengthen Coordination on Humanitarian Issues Concerning Yemenis in Indonesia

H.E. Ambassador Salem Ahmed Balfaqih met on Friday, 4 September 2026, with Ms. Adriani binti Wahjanto, Officer in Charge of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Indonesia, and Ms. Emily Bojovic, Senior Protection Officer at UNHCR, to discuss the situation of Yemeni nationals in Indonesia and ways to strengthen coordination and cooperation on a number of humanitarian and legal issues facing some of them.
